The location is good since it by the wineries and the Colorado river but the sites are all all jammed in together with no trees. The bathrooms are really nice though. The Van sites have almost no space to put out an awning. The camp store is very limited and the hours are not good.
Large sites, though mostly unshaded. You can walk to the reservoir. Great for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing. Best when it is hot out and can cool off in the water. Great scenery.
There are a lot of sites spaced out nicely in a wooded area. The vault toilets are clean and water is available from the many spigots. Close the reservoir and you can rent boats and pick essentials from the camp store.
Hilly wooded camping, rock out crops, boarded walkways around the lake. Looks like a good place to fish.
