State park has good location. Has beach access within the park. , camped with our small RV and even though other campers were close our site was very private. Quiet at night, Bandon is a nice town with a cute little downtown with a local cheese factory and a place that makes hard cider.
This part is in Port Townsend which is a beautiful town. The park is on the ocean which is great for walking in the sand , it does mean however that the wind can be vicious in early spring. We were glad we were in a our small RV rather than tent camping. There are beautiful big homes for rent for groups.
Beautiful lake, bald eagle flying overhead, geese and deer come in. Our site was facing large open grassy area leading to the lake. We were there late spring and during the week it was very uncrowned and the weather was chilly but clear.
