Nice tavern

Very friendly staff made us feel right at home. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the tavern and it was lovely. Clean bathrooms and laundry room. The pool was also great. The playground can use some updating.

Never again

This place has some rude and unwelcoming staff. The lady who checked us in must not realize she works in the hospitality industry. It’s listed as a KOA “Holiday” but it must have been given that designation a very long time ago. All the amenities are very dated. The sites are narrow and very close together. Would not recommend.

Huge park

This is a very big park with multiple types of camping options and also a lodge with a restaurant. Lots of great fishing and boating spots. There’s a few beaches for swimming and multiple playgrounds for the little ones. Check it is super easy, you just drive up to your site. The RV sites had plenty of room and were very well maintained. We met the camp host to buy firewood and he was really nice and accommodating.

Bring your fishing pole

Large sites with tall trees and plenty of shade. Easy check in with a friendly park ranger and also met the camp host who was also very nice. There is a big lake for boating and fishing and you can rent a small boat on site. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean but hot and muggy with just a couple of fans running. Not much else going on at this park. Down the road however is Providence Canyon SP and that is an absolute must if you are staying here. Providence Canyon has some great hiking and amazing views.

Old Florida Feeling

Just a beautiful state park, with that old Florida feel. The sites are big and have plenty of space between them. The the park staff we interacted with were very friendly and informative. The glass bottom boat tour is an absolute must, we had such a wonderful time and the boat captain had lots of interesting information. We have a 4 year old and a 10 year old and they both really enjoyed the boat tour also.

Nice but not welcoming

This is a nice spot with decent sites. It has a large although dated pool with minimal seating and no shade, there is a pavilion with shade on the other side of the pool fence. The dog park is large but all gravel with no grass or dirt. There is a jump pillow which the kids enjoyed. The real downfall to this KOA is the not welcoming and unfriendly staff. The check in process felt aggressive and any encounter with staff that I was involved in or witnessed was not very friendly at all.
