New to 5th wheel camping ,but I'm lovin it !

Great camp sites!

Great place to go camping . The mountains and the lake views are beautiful . The restrooms and showers for very clean . If you are all about fishing this is the place for you . While we was there we went to the Reenactment between the North and the South for Pea Ridge Battle and believe me if you have not been to one it is a day to step back in time .

Nice camp sites

This camp is in an out of the way place , but if you like in the woods to hear nature here's the place . When we went the site with electric section was not open just the primitive sites . But the restroom are open and showers are all clean . Swimming was a little chilly . We had a wonderful float trip down the piney in the kayak's I got dunked so that's how I know the water was chilly (lol) but all is good . There are lots of places to hike and fish along the bank . But I don't recommend swimming in May like I did .This place is in the National Forest ,so nature aplenty. And if you want to unplug this is the place no cell service and to me that was the best part.

Happy Camping everyone!

This was our second trip with our new to us camper! Wow what a pretty park big and plenty of parking . There is camp spots that over look the bay and some right down on the water . Has two shower houses and plenty of restrooms . All are clean and well keep. While I was there the painting rock and putting them out was the big next thing , so I painted some and put them out . I watched three young girls go up to them and look but not sure if they could have them but in the end they picked them up and it was smiles all around . That make my day to see how happy they were. I put rocks out at the swimming hole to and later went back to see and yes they were gone . Blue mountain is a great place to hunt , fish, kayak, swim and just enjoy quite time. I would recommend this park to anyone that enjoys the outdoors.

Happy Valentine's day trip!

Spend a week at sunrise point for Valentine's week . Not to many people out this early but the fisherman and us but we love camping so here we go . This place is great for fishing the boats were coming and going all day even in the rain. The showers and restrooms was very clean and warm . We took walks on the bank and around the park . Had friends over for Valentine's dinner ! Great camp for you fishing people ! And if you want to say hello to the old ones there is a cemetery close by .We paid our respects. Would stay here again.

Happy camping!

If you are out and about Little Rock camp Maumelle is a great place to camp right on the river and easy to get to . Almost all the camp sites are in the shade and with the breeze off the water it's a nice place to relax . We had to be in Little Rock are doctors appointments for a week so it was nice to find this place close .Better than driving 80 miles one way everyday. The park attendants were very nice and would come by just to check if you needed anything . The showers and restrooms were clean. We had squirrels and geese and there babies visit . Watched people fishing from the bank and seen lots of big boats . They are lots of things to do in Little Rock like Two Rivers Bridge , River walk , Zoo. We would go back here anytime!

Lost Bridge North on Beaver Lake Ar.

Loved the site 9 and 10 was in the shade and right on the water . Great boat dock and plenty of parking . We was able to launch our kayaks from our camp site . Nice clean showers . The view from camp was absolutely beautiful . There is a place not to far away called Turpentine Creek wildlife refuge let me tell you that this is a place where these animals have been saved from a life of pain . The refuge has taken in these babies and now they do not have to worry about food . Every dollar that comes in goes to helping them so if you want to donate to something good this is it . They are a non- profit rescues facility for neglected and unwanted captive exotic cats. Pea Ridge Battle grounds is in the area to. Lots of places to see there.

Texas round trip

Before we stopped at the Brazos park we went from Pottsville Arkansas to the beaches in Texas .Started out in Houston and seen the San Jacinto Monument , The Washburn Tunnel, Aquaworld in down town Houston. Went over some Big bridges . Than we went to the beach in Galveston and spend the night in the back of my explorer what a night great view and the breeze was nice . The next day moved on to travel down the coast to the Port Aransas and crossed on the ferry heading to Mustang Island beach. Than passing Corpus Christi down to Padre Island . Can't remember the name of the beach we spend the night on . The next morning we headed out away from the coast and back towards home . This it where we stopped at the Brazos park and sleep in one of the screened rooms . The park was beautiful and the moss on the trees make you think you have gone back in time . But a last we have to go home!

Back road trip

We spend our last night in Wister State Park before heading home to Arkansas. The park ladies were the most informative by far. They told us where the best place to see the eagles and we did . Best day ever . On the way home we found some old Civil War cemeteries with men from Company A 19th ARK INF CSA . Boggy Creek Indian Territory . And we visited the Choctaw War Memorial park . I love to take pictures of all kinds of things and in our travels I found this pretty not sure what it is but I liked it .

Tent week

We had a great time loved the camp ground . The showers were wonderful. We spend time exploring the country . Was honored to dance with the local Indians .Took a trip to Turner Falls and put our feet in the water . Climbed to the castle .And on our way to our next adventure stopped at Rid-It to eat .

Heber Springs weekend

Spend a week here with friends and my fur baby. We went kayaking around the point and took great pictures . We had suppers on the open fire and had roasted marshmallows . Spend our days exploring the area . Done a little fishing. Clean restrooms and showers. Will stay here again.

Day trip

My friend and I took a day trip and come to see the falls . We walked around and took pictures and enjoyed our self's . This was a much needed day out !

Three Amigo's week !

Had a great time on Petti Jean , One of the three Amigo's work's up there and we spend time with her for a week . Our camp site was next to a little stream and we put out our yard pets by the stream and we had people stopping to talk about them and the kids loved them . One was George the frog and the other was Henryetta the hippo !
