Super clean and great location, but docked a star because of the price. After fees when booking, it comes out to about $42.00 a night.
Showers and bathrooms are spread out nicely. We tent camped and the noise wasnt bad at all. Though there was some mystery animal howling/screeching through out the night haha. Super close to the water. Kayak rentals an restaurant down by the dock and a great place to load kayaks into the water! Will definitely be back. Just make sure you book in advance! Fills up fast.
Spots pretty spread out and amazing views. Will be back for sure! Water and bathrooms available. Firewood for purchase from rangers. Nice little trails within the campground too! Make sure to catch the sunset over emerald bay from the top of the walking trail towards the middle of the campground.
Went in late October and the campground was absolutely infested with flies. Us and the three other campers that showed up around the same time ended up leaving and going to Selby up the road because the flies were so out of control. Not sure if this is a seasonal issue because there isn’t any mention in other reviews.
Awesome free campground! Vault toilets and running water. Dog that rolls through in the mornings makes for beautiful scenery. Would come back!
Camping is pretty available and dispersed! There’s sites you can get to with and without 4 wheel drive, so options for rv’s and car camping. No cell service at all with sprint/t mobile. One vault toilet at head of camping area but not too many people camp close to it so prepare accordingly.
