600 sites but you better book early. This park is being renovated so expect construction. Lots of beach to walk, pavilions, showers and a jetty to fish off of. Besides the campground, you can also go to the north end of town, access the beach and camp right in the Gulf.
GPin Oak Campground (there’s actually 4 campgrounds in the park). Large sites that aren’t crowded in together. Full hook ups, lake access. Cabins also available.
Beautiful second campground, part of Pickwick Landing State Park. Over half the campsites are on the water. Older campground, sites are a little uneven. Boat launch on site. 4 unisex bathrooms, could use some updating. Primitive camping, no electric or water. A few sites are big enough for a small RV.
Nice level campsites with white rock. Primitive camping, no water or electric. Not big enough for RVs. Nice bathrooms, excellent showers.
Very pretty with lots of hiking trails and a lake for fishing.
There is not a bad site at Pin Oak Campground in NTSP. Situated on a lake with a dock available. Good fishing, swimming.
Mall sites are large and level and not crowded at all. Our favorite getaway close to home.
This is one of 5 organized campgrounds with full hookups that accept reservations. There are many other smaller campgrounds with toilets and the entire recreational area allows dispersed camping with a permit.
