Can you say coyote? If you want to been I. The thick of it - you are gonna love this place. Small but giant tree filled sites. Clean dry toilet. Great volunteer, Jess, to help fill you I. On the local animal sightings.
Plenty of Beautiful lakes side sites. Fishing, flowers, and lots of ani Al’s (both domestic and wild!). Downside: 22 mile dirt road in and another out. The camping is free but your vehicle will need a car wash.
The place was clean and friendly. Disappointing bathrooms with only a couple toilet/shower combos. Irritated that my laundry took longer that I thought, so at 11:05 they shut off the campsite water.
Great spot, easy access and 6 miles from the South entrance to the Canyon. Note: The directions land you in an area with lots of no camping signs. Just keep driving and the spots open up. Great trails for biking here too.
