Made a lap through campground, it has not been kept up roads were bad. Driving a jeep JLU on 35” tires with lift. No way an RV could get in and out of this unless it has good clearance. I did not stay to many campgrounds in the area to stay in one this run down.
Right around the lake dispersed spots with lots of room between spots. A couple of pit toilets.
Great campground! The host here will likely guide you to the spot and help you set up camp. He is very friendly and helpful. There are 24 sites on a loop several are group sites. Two pit toilets on the loop both have men’s and women’s sides. A pine pole fence surrounds the area to keep the local livestock out. The access is from a dirt road shortly after leaving Robertson Wyoming. Roughly 12 miles of dirt road that is very well maintained until you enter the national forest then a couple miles of road that is rocky and has some good potholes. I was in a 24 foot motor home and taking it easy and picking the smoothest path it was not too bad. Worth it for the views and solitude here.
Nice campground pit toilets by boat launch. Mosquitos are pretty thick campsites are by lake most have a path to the lake.
Great overnight trip. Water level is very low and it was fairly crowded for a Tuesday night. Roads are in very bad shape for the number of RVs in the area. Great scenery and lots of deer wandering close by.
Great place in rural Wyoming. In town of Kemmerer close to several lakes. Convenient to amenities as well as nature in rural Wyoming.
