This campground has newly paved level pads & nice, clean bathrooms, all ADA accessible. It was quiet & empty enough that we found a site on the day we needed it - no lag time. Fishing should be good & it seems to be a short hike from a swimming spot. It was great to find this, under $30 with everything we needed (power, water, & a dump site) available at the last minute.
Great hiking trails, amazing cave, helpful & friendly hosts, large clean shower/bathroom building. The showers are in the area for tent camping which is a bit of a hike from RV sites - less than a quarter mile. There's a great climbing wall for kids. If you want a break from the world it's great since internet is spotty & slow: I'm able to write this while on back roads in Georgia but couldn't do it there. The hills & some rain kept the temperature cooler while we were there - also a nice break in June. We would definitely plan to go back if we're anywhere near!
The hostess was helpful & the grounds were beautifully kept. Our 11 year old grandson enjoyed the large playground & splash pad. We didn't even go to the little zoo so no info there. Plenty of room & full hookup at each site. The bathroom (not plural) was clean, large & seems to be wheelchair friendly but is rusty & really old. For our 1 night stay it was fine.
