We found this site to be perfect for our needs. The cost at the time of this review was $0.00. The outhouse style bathroom was clean. Our view of the sun setting between 2 mountains was amazing. The site was flat , others campers in the area but not overcrowded.
Plenty of space for even the biggest of RVS. We were in a high top and had no problems getting a spot for the night with a view of the hat.
Early, early, early! We arrived at 7am. Drive past the entrance and headed straight to the camp ground. First come first serve and it was filled up the entire time. We stayed Monday Oct 11 for 1 night. We got the first site and only site vacant. As we drove in we passed an RV for someone headed out to get an early start driving. That's what you want. We watched 40+ RVs drive thru at all hours of the day looking for a site but all were full and stayed full. If anyone left someone arrives to replace them. As we pulled out before we left the campground someone else was already in our spot. . . NOTE- if you arrive early you can pay your entrance fee when you pay for the camp spot. $ 10 entrance for residence $15 for non and $10 for non hookup site.
We stopped here for a quick night. We didn't even pull in as far as it's marked. We turned onto waterline made an immediate right onto dirt road. Drove 100 yards and pull off on the right. Nothing to see from the pic except the hard dirt road for most vehicles.
We arrived at sun down and left just before sun up. The showers were hot and clean. The cost for our camper van in a non hookup site was around $35 with tax. Very nice and large campground for a safe place to go.
