I will be fair in saying that I went last summer. I had first tent spot under the trees by the lake. The view was lovely. The site however was filthy. Tons of trash. The fire ring was pretty sad too. Once I cleaned the spot, it ended up being nice. Walking distance to a basic bathroom. Very basic showers but got you clean. Pool closed for season. I’d stay again if they guaranteed a clean site.

Montebello is a lovely campground. There are tent, RV sites and cabins with campground bathroom. There are showers, slop sink and laundry. The pond at front has stocked trout and a small lake in the back has bass and crappie. Suitable for paddle boats or kayak. There was also a playground for children. You check in at the cute store across the street.

I stayed in the tent area. The site has a fine gravel pad, picnic table and fire ring. I was in site 2 near the lake. A crowd with chairs sat above my site on the hill that were rather noisy. But biggest drawback was distance to bathroom which I had to drive to.

Lots of good trails nearby and a small one around the lake. I plan to return in the fall.

I enjoyed this campground. A nice playground for children. Lots of deer about. The tent sites have water, fire ring, table and nice shade.  Lots of lovely trails to explore. It was quiet and super clean. The only drawback is that you need to drive to the restroom because the walk is a little too far.  But the restroom was super clean.

I love this park! Plenty of tent and RV sites. 4 yurts available in nice wooded area. Lake beach passes included in price (when not under Covid restrictions). Boat rentals. Plenty clean bathrooms and hot showers. Wood, ice and soda machines available. IT’s my favorite go-to campground!

Visited recently for a weekend. Yes, there is a bridge that goes over the front of the campground. I was further back and never really heard much from it. The sound of the creek muffled much of the noise. The sites are a bit tight but have a table and fire pit. Creekside preferable. The bathroom was basic with a shower. Nothing fancy but gets job done. Close to local attractions and not too expensive. Owner is helpful and nice. Despite seeing children there, I think campground perhaps better suited for adults.
