The road into Many Glacier campground is a challenge but well worth the agonizing ride in. There is nice spacing between the sites. There are no hookups and there are generator hours that people have no trouble complying with. The hosts are very nice and are willing to help in any way possible. They do a mandatory bear awaretalk for new arrivals. The campsites are predominantly shaded so solar really doesn't work well there. The restrooms are clean and there are utility sinks for emptying gray water waste if you are a tenter. The water and dump station are just out side the entrance between. There is a ranger station just past the dump station. Located on the north side of the campground is a store, lodge, restaurant, laundry, and shower. The laundry is coin operated.

This was an overnight stopover our way west. The site was spacious compared to some state parks. There were plenty of trees and a bit of terrain changes that made them more appealing. The lake was large and inviting (except for current swimmer's itch breakout). The bathrooms and showers were clean and the park staff was pleasant.

We are not a big state park fan as, in Michigan, there are very close sites and tons of noise. This one was relatively quiet. The site were the standard Michigan close but the campgeound was t full and there many options to choose from. The lake is real nice and the beach area is clean, spacious and it has a general store that has firewood for sale. We first reserved a rustic site, then changed to an electrical hook up site after arriving. The ranger was very accomodating.

Great campground. Secluded with electrical and water hookups. Make sure you use Highway 78 to enter. Google Maps will send you on a 11.5 mile mountain trail ( Dugger Mountain Road) that is a dirt 2 track over the mountain…an interesting trip with a camper. The campground is very well maintained. We rolled in on the day of our stay with no reservations. Sites with no reservation cards are open for one night. There were 2 open when we arrived around 8 pm. After hours, it's an honor system using the envelopes at the entrance. The sites are level with water and electricity. There are lake sites available. Our site was in the open area. This was an overnight stay for us on our way home. The dump station is at the entrance. Bath house was very clean and well maintained.

We used this as an overnight stop on our way to Georgia. Google Maps was right on for getting us here. The park was well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. There is water and electricity on site with a dump station at the back of the park. The sites along the lake have great views. Nights were quiet.

We pulled in about 7 PM. We found our ticket for the campsite taped to the window of the booth. Reatroom are clean a little chilly As we were in beginning of April. It was a very quiet campground this time of year. Very clean and well maintained.
