It was a small plot of camp. It was noisy from kids. But it was a good time and easy to get to from Chicago.

Standard Illinois camping ground with grass. It’s is not the most picturesque spot, but it is a nice spot.

No cell service for T-Mobile so download songs on Spotify accordingly. It is a bit noisy as you can hear other groups clearly. There was some car traffic on the loop until 10 pm or so.

Agree with previous review that star gazing is nice on a clear night, especially if you from the city.

2 star rating is for the overall site, the overall trip was good though. No real complaints just

This camp site does not have very secluded spots. I would have enjoyed a more quiet plot of land amongst some pine trees.

We did not get out to see much of the park. Would like to come back and experience the actual beauty of the park not just the family campground.

We camped in a “walk in” spot about 200 feet from where you can park the car. It is very secluded and tree cover allows you to be hidden from all others.
