Clean, quiet, open campground, tents, trailers and cabins. Very happy with the week we spent here
Good camp ground if you like being 6 ft away from your neighbors. More of a group or community campground. Shared fire pit and tables. Not the place to go if you are trying to get away from people. Located right under the flight path of the nearby airport. Only plus each site have full hookups and sewer.
Edit: we initially thought they double charged me, went to clarify only to realize the 2nd charge was for the 2nd night. So for 2 nights it was $142! Not worth it. Not coming back.
Nice campground away from the main roads. All spots outside of the R.V. loop are spread out and pretty secluded. Very friendly and helpful rangers. About a 10 minute drive from Julian pie co. Nice well maintained trails, easy to moderate level. Site 24
We live about 20 minutes away. This place is a great quick getaway for the weekend or when we have a few days off during the week. Easy trails and plenty of trees. Animal friendly. We camp in a travel trailer, they have hooks ups for water and electricity, no sewer at the sites, but they do have a dump near the entrance. Some people make a big deal about the highway, its not that bad.
