Great Location, Decent Set Up

This campground is right outside the east entrance to Zion, which was super convenient. It’s right off the highway, which makes it easy to get to but not super quiet. The sites were reasonably sized with some shade, which was nice. They do offer toilets, sinks, showers, wifi, and coin laundry near the entrance, but it was quite a haul from our site and could definitely use some more frequent cleaning, especially for the price of the sites.

Nice Spot if You Plan to Stay Awhile

This is a beautiful spot, but definitely not ideal for someone looking to stop for a night between destinations. It is pretty far off the beaten path, down a rough gravel road. There are also several free dispersed camping sites nearby, and other campsites closer to the road. The actual sites are large with nice tables and fire pits. The ants were awful though, so I definitely wouldn’t suggest tent camping here. There is a pit toilet but no other amenities. You’re close to the lake, it’s nice and quiet, and the night sky was beautiful.

Great Campground at Dinosaur NM

This is a great little campground nestled by the river in Dinosaur NM. Sites are nicely sized with a fire pit and nice picnic table. There are flush toilets and sinks in the bathrooms and potable water. There’s even a spot where you can walk down to a small beach area to wade in the river. Very nice campground.

Beautiful Spot but Lots of Traffic

This is a great free camping spot just north of Arches NP with large sites with fire rings. There were some port-a-pots but no other amenities. However, there was a lot of late night traffic going in and out, so if you’re tent camping, I definitely recommend driving farther back or trying to find a spot further off the road.

Great Park With a Really Nice Campground

We totally just stumbled upon this park, and we are so glad we did. We came to the area to visit Rock Island SP, but their campground was full, so we looked for the next closest option. The park itself is beautiful, and the campground was really nice. They have multiple campgrounds. We stayed in B at site 78 and loved that it was on the backside with no one behind us. The sites were large with nice fire rings and picnic tables. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained. We would definitely camp here again.
