Staff is so rude

When I was calling to make a reservation the girl on the phone was sweet but you could tell she was new and had to ask other people to e answers to my questions. I could hear their responses in the background and were rude af. I guess they didn’t think I could hear them, but honestly it made me change my mind about going there. Would recommend Manatee Springs / Otter Springs, they’re both cute and clean AND less expensive

All and all gorgeous

Beautiful swimming and kayaking.

Good last resort but wouldn’t recommend

This campsite has the basics: fire pit & picnic table. The staff is very nice and commutative. There’s a great swimming hole. BUT there aren’t very many trees so it’s really HOT and there’s no bathrooms, showers, wifi, or cell service.

One of the best campsites I’ve been to!

This has been one of my favorite campsites. The campground is nice: level ground, lots of trees, CLEAN bathrooms and showers, and walking distance to a great swimming area that’s clean and unpolluted. Didn’t see any otters but still 10/10

Old and run down. The staff are lazy

As far as the campground goes, the ground is nice and even with fire pits and trees. But the bathrooms and showers are dirty and gross. The staff is lazy and rude. The grounds are rundown. The slides look dirty and unsafe. Over it was over priced for the experience offered.

Great beach spot

Best kayaking in the area in the lake and walking distance from the beach. I’ll always keep coming back here

10/10 would recommend

This is a great campsite for swimming, BBQ, dogs, and kids alike

Parking lot

I won’t glamorize it. This is a great spot to get robbed.

RV park

Smells terrible and is expensive. It is in a good location if you want to be near the city/French quarter

Car camping area

City park and Couturie forest are great outdoors spots. Camping inside either is technically prohibited. But car camping in the parking spots along the park roads are common. A great spot for fishing, nature trails, dog walking, and enjoying nature.
