A perfect campground for nature lovers. Elk came by to " watch us". A short trail to the rim of the canyon for gorgeous views. Very nice hosts. Perfectly clean toilets and sinks.

The sites are suited for vehicles up to 30 feet. Some are pull through, some back in, some just a pull out along the road and VERY small. We had a pull through for a 30' RV, it fitted. Quite flat, levellers would have been convenient… Each site has an asphalt part and an enormous dirt/ stone/ sand part with many trees for shade, BBQ/ firepit and picknicktable.

Canyon Village is about 40 miles, but being away from the crowds is priceless.

Please keep in mind that there are no showers at the campground. Showers are at Mather campground, but they are very dirty and outdated. $2,50 for 5 minutes of warm water. At Mather a RV dumpstation is available as well.

Desert View is one of the nicest campsites I saw during the roadtrip with my family.

Designated spots between trees, only trees. 15 mins drive to Bryce visitor centre. Very quiet, except for some buggies coming by over the road. Exceptionally large spots, levelled, sand/ stone, with a firepit made of stones. The road is bumpy, but good enough for our 30 ft RV. Very dusty though ( the spots also)

Kids loved strolling in the forest and the deers coming by.

Beautiful and neat area. Most sites are along the road, bring levellers for your RV! Most of the sites are far from flat!

Wifi is unstable. Men's shower just cold, women's shower perfect. No coins needed! Special part for doing the dishes.

Beautiful area, plenty trails ( the rim trail is magnifieke, but quite heavy!) . Kids loved the stay here!

Small campground, close to Zion NP. Flat spots, quite small though. Full hookups, pull through. No firepit or BBQ on spots, but two BBQ's on the side of the sites. Washing machines and dryers available, $3,-, between 4 p.m. an 10 p.m. Hot and very clean showers!! The best so far.

The only thing inconvenient is that you have to go through the Mt Carmel tunnel to reach Zion NP. And this tunnel is opened for oversized vehicles between 8.00a.m. and 4.30 p.m. So keep that in mind!

Made a reservation for our RV. Nice, wide spots, all on grass. A firepit and a grill. Clean spots.

Very very crowded with a large group of campers, using the carpark and picknickarea the whole day and night. Too noisy. We didn't use the toilets because of the group of people next to it. The road is near, quity noisy also at night. And a train is passing every few hours, using its horn before the bend, 24/7….

Very nice host, who dropped by to check whether we were ok after arrival.

River is brownish, not meant to swim in.

Overall: good enough for one night while travelling from A to B. I guess the weekdays ( non-holiday) might be better.

We arrived with a reservation for a rental RV, smooth and friendly check-in. But then… Small site, no shade at all. Nicely flat though. Firepit/BBQ filled with cigarettes, non-usable. Pool was as small as can be, 10 pax= overcrowded. Toilets and showers outdated, broken and terribly dirty. The neighbour will play a loud national anthem at 9 p.m. and an even louder reveille at 9 a.m. One can see as far as possible, but the scenery consists of old trailers and mess.

Pro's: The showers were for free and nicely warm. 4 washing machines ($1,75 half an hour) 4 dryers ($1,50 half an hour) Free wafles and coffee between 9a.m. and 10 a.m. Friendly staff.

Overall: nearly good enough for a one night stay. Never saw something like this before.
