Nice small park

All the sites were concrete and level. Most sites had nice level tent pads as well. Restrooms were very clean. There was a large playground for children. We did not get to walk the trail as it rained on us most of the time we were there. We will go back and hope for better weather.

Love the camp ground!

We stayed at this camp ground in March of this year(2018) and I fell in love with this state park! It is so clean and well maintained! There are multiple sites close to the water. The sites are all a good size and level and easy to get into. The bath houses are clean. There are water and sever hook ups at each site. There are three walking trails and a waterfall to hike to as well. So quite and peaceful. We already have reservations for two weekends next year!

Disappointing.

We stayed at this camp ground Memorial Day weekend 2018. So disappointing! I stayed at this campground as a child and have very fond memories but was very dissipointed this time. Some of the sites are very unlevel and there was poison ivy overgrown everywhere. You could not walk anywhere without having to pick your way through it. We got ticks on us and so did our dogs. The parking is terrible and not enough of it anywhere, especially near the swimming area. We have another weekend reserved here and if I can get reservations in another campground I will cancel the ones for here.

Very nice camp ground.

We stayed at this camp ground for the week of the Fourth of July this year(2018). This is our second stay at this camp ground. The lake is mostly a fishing lake. But we did see some people in kayaks and they do have some paddle boats to rent. There is water at each site but no sewer hook ups. There are a few sites right on the water. The camp ground is well maintained, clean and quite. There are two walking trails and a playground. There is also a nice screened pavilion that you can rent for reunions. Over all a very nice small camp ground.
