This campground is newly remodeled. The sites are nice and private and the view is unbeatable. There are larger beaches on the lake for sure, but the south end of the lake is the calmest and the sand is the best there. There are also a lot of hiking and dirt biking options very near by, and it’s also close to the river which is fun to paddle down! I’ve been here at all times of the year, never a bad time.

This is a great little campground! All the sites are very nice and it’s all very well kept! A small creek runs right through the camp and into the lake, which is crystal clear! The rocks are gorgeous and it was a wonderful place to fish!

We had the greatest time here! This campground is right next to the dam on the river! It was quiet, clean, and FREE! Can’t beat that! We also like to kayak, and Peewee falls is only a 5 minute paddle from the campground, if that! Highly recommended!
