I've stayed here twice, the first time in a tent, and the second time we rented a yurt. The tent spaces are very close to one another so the yurt was way worth the upgrade. This campground is a bit urban-feeling. Had nice shower house and bathrooms.
We had a lovely day hanging out by the lake.
Easy access to ATV trails and the BEST fishing hole in the hills (I caught two decent brown trout). The food and live music was exceptional, be sure to try the dessert.
The cabins were very cute with trendy pine interior and artwork. Good value for location.
This campground is one of the closest to Mt. Rushmore. Situated on a small lake, you can cliff-dive here, fish or visit the needles hiking trail. The campsites are nice, but fill up quickly. I'm a local and the prices seem very high to me for the area - $40 for a tent site and the pet fee was very high also.
