I put three stars because I haven't had the chance to camp here yet. I will come back with an updated review. I have gone on day hikes here and it's super cool. There are some historical sites and the water is beautiful. You can swim under the falls and in the creek/river.
This campground is beautiful and has two creeks running along either side. There aren't many spots but it is free and there is a toilet.
The views at this campground are breathtaking. The camp host is wonderful and super funny. The sites are very clean and so are the restrooms. There are lots of hiking trails around so go check it out.
This park was one of the most beautiful places I have ever camped in East Texas. The hiking and biking trails are amazing. The lake is super clear and very pretty. I will definitely be going back here!
There are so many trails to hike and explore at Pedernales Falls. We saw lots of wildlife and beautiful flowers. The river is amazing to swim in and the falls are simply breathtaking :D
My visit to this lovely campground was just simply amazing! The camp site I stayed at was perfect for tent and hammock camping. It was very shady for the hot summer time and it rained a little bit but we had no problems. The Buffalo National river was right next to our campsite. All I had to do was walk down a hill or a path and it was right there for me to swim in. I also got to kayak down the river and that was the best time I've ever had. There are lots of things to do without even leaving the campground. They have lots of trails to hike. One of them even takes you to an old Indian rock that is simply breathtaking.
