We stayed at a beautiful drive-up spot that overlooked the lake. Neighbors seemed closer than if we were in a spot on the interior and away from the water.. but the view is definitely worth it. We will definitely be back!
Bathrooms were well spaced throughout the campground and clean.
At first we were a little taken aback by all the train noises (the puppy wasn’t too excited about it) but they didn’t run too late into the night. Close to town and when we stayed (early October) there were plenty of open RV sites. It almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The facilities were well maintained and included laundry, bathrooms, and pay showers.
What a great place to stay… but make sure you get there early because sites fill up quickly. The sounds of the creek are so peaceful and the starry night sky was incredible.
We arrived shortly after the office closed but there were still plenty of tent sites available. The self check-in process was a breeze. The sites and facilities were well maintained. Try to get a site that looks towards the mountains.. what a gorgeous site to wake up to!
