Nice, well maintained campground. Clean bathrooms. Showers currently closed due to covid. A good amount of road noise since it’s right next to highway 101, but not terrible. Path from the campground takes you directly to the beach.
This is a really nice campground. The soft ground made tent camping comfortable. Clean bathrooms that were lit through the night. Some sites close to Jackson Lake beach access which provide stunning views. Arrived at 6:15am on a Sunday and felt so lucky to find an open spot.
Our campsite was huge and very clean. The dirt around the fire pit had recently been raked! Bathroom was in good shape as well.
Sites are in good shape, all seem to be a short walk to where you can get into the lake.
Beautiful, quiet campground with nice views of Lewiston Lake. The glamping units have the best view so I hope to check those out next time.
6/20/2020. Beautiful campground, in good shape. The fire pit was newer and great for cooking. You have to drive for over an hour on a one lane road. Be ready to stop and reverse for a bit to allow another car/truck with boat to pass you. The drive, campground, and surrounding attractions were beautiful. Wish I could’ve had more time there.
Santa Cruz Island is a beautiful place to get away. We practically had the campground to ourselves. The campground is in good shape. There are yellow jackets swarming each water spigot but they don’t prevent you from filling up and they go away at night. It was very windy; lots of dirt blew into our tent at night. Bathrooms were okay… still give it 5 stars and can’t wait to come back!
Spacious campsites with soft dirt/gravel that makes tent camping pretty comfy. Bathrooms were in good shape. The camp store is a close walk and has everything you would need. Stunning views of Lassen Peak from the lake.
Visited Grandstaff Campgroud in May 2017. I’ve done a decent amount of camping and this is by far my favorite. Beautiful scenery in every direction. Clean facilities. Can’t wait to come back some day.
The campsite was on a slant but not that bad. Bathrooms were clean, check in was seamless. Felt lucky to snag a reservation here!
Host was nice. Campsites are small and there is lots of road noise. But overall, good location if you’re exploring North Lake Tahoe.
Great location just a short drive to the entrance of Yosemite. Great for families aka lots of kids. Clean facilities. Campsites are close to each other but overall it was fine.
