We arrived late on a Friday after skiing A Basin, so it was later and didn’t realize it was a popular spot. We got lucky and found someone that was leaving early the next morning.
We camped in a dispersed spot close by and got lucky with the spot for the next couple days. The spot was on the river and we did an amazing hike that was extremely close by.
The view from our campsite was amazing and it was a relatively short drive from the downtown part of Moab.
We got here late one night and pulled in to find no one camping in tents. We were confused because we had seen online it was for RVs as well as tents.
Got here around 12 and was super confused on how to get to the primitive camp area. It’s a nice spot, plan on getting here before dark. Other than that our experience was good.
We had an amazing time! Showed up later on a Thursday and got super lucky with and awesome site. The lake is super close and the campground is surrounded with amazing trails. It’s a short drive from Leadville as well.
The sites were nicely spread out and had amazing views. It was a short hike to the waterfall & only about 30 minutes from the Dunes!
In an amazing area, the drive to get to it was beautiful as well. Awesome trails surrounding the campground
