Camp Sites were open early (March), if not year round. Other campgrounds don’t open until mid-April. Easy access to both single track and to paved cycling path. Sites are close but still felt private, especially when leaves fill in. Nice shower house, and a sauna we didn’t use.
Perfect fall getaway! We stayed on a Sunday to Monday, prior to a college visit with our son. No crowd, and had the campground and fall leaves all to ourselves. Sites are for the most part a nice distance from each other and many have asphalt pads. Bathrooms were clean and suitable.
Really enjoyed this place! It’s connected to miles of trails for multiple uses like mountain biking, hiking, running, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and winter fat biking. Staff is very polite and helpful. Cabins are a nice size for parties of 6, and sites are somewhat private. Rustic campground with flush toilet, and personal enclosed shower rooms. Sauna was a nice option after a day on the trails. Will definitely be returning!
