Sites are spread out, very clean in a nice forest. Chipmunks are cute and respectful. Very beautiful campground
What a view! Very close to the Tufas (a must see). Dispersed camping on gravel/sand so we stayed near the road, in the middle of ponderosa trees. Sunset was gorgeous, peaceful place my kind of camping! Camping in nature!!
Nice picnic tables, standing wood BBQ, big trees, some trash, on the edge of a town. Camp host very nice. River has dried now. One of the best option around I5. Not the best camping experience but not the worst either.
In the middle of the forest, big private sites, no drinking water but a pit toilet. 9 sites only! Free for 14 days. Quiet, peaceful. 6 miles off route M 28 on gravel road.
It reminds me of some landscapes of Iceland and Ireland. Cows are friendly around here. Lot of flies but no mosquitoes! No access to water so be prepared. We camped at a designated site on the north side of the reservoir. Off I 84 then gravel road for about 11 miles so worth it!
