If you can tolerate the odd way to reserve a spot here it’s 100% worth it. Small quiet and secluded. Let me tell you. The spiders were everywhere when I woke up.
It’s been a few years since I’ve stayed here but I have a million memories of this place. Stalked by a mountain lion chased people out of the campground. Spent easily 100 nights here. Campground has recently been upgraded and heading back soon.
This park is a great place for a quick getaway. Quiet and not a million sites. Wifi is nice with plenty to do throughout the park. One of my local favorite places.
This is a solid campground with a lot of close by activities. Heavily used by locals and connected to the Coralville Dam. Boat ramp playgrounds fossils and disc golf all within walking distance. Make sure to grab a bite to eat at FunCrest.
An easy campground to get in and out of. Very reliable and you know what you are getting each time. You stay. Clean restrooms and clean grounds.
