Coordinates are accurate to location. I would not recommend for RV campers as much as I would for tent or van campers. The road was a little steep but we found a tree cave spot as mentioned in one of the previous comments. We arrived around 6pm and were the only ones there. The river was beautiful so we took a dip in the water. There is also a good size rapid. We saw a rabbit, quail, mouse, and a ferret. It did get busy after 8pm but overall great place to camp.
Coordinates are accurate to location. The lower spots are more freed up than the higher up spots. This place gets busy after 5pm. I have Verizon so I had cell service. I have never experienced mosquitos and flies like I did here. Bring as much mosquito repellent/fly traps as you can. We had multiple people drive up to us and alert us that their was a grizzly bear below us than 20 min later another person alerted us they saw a grizzly above us. We couldn’t really sleep because of the anxiety, I had a pistol and still was not able to sleep through the night.
Coordinates are accurate to site location. Getting into the first few spots the road is ok, getting down by the river it gets rough. We have a 4 wheel drive truck and it was easy for us. Area is small but no reservations needed. Beautiful views of the mountains and the river. It was very quiet.
Coordinates are accurate to camp location spot, it is right off the highway, giving you easy access. I recommend getting there early because minimal site locations. It was a bit windy when we went but found a grouping of trees. We also were lucky enough to see a moose walk right behind our campsite. It stopped and noticed us but eventually walked off.
When we arrived we noticed a lot of camping site options. However, it was very windy make sure if your in a tent the stakes are down properly. Directions are accurate to site locations. We went during the 4th of July week and noticed it got very busy towards the end of the night, large group gatherings.
