We stayed for two nights in this clean, quiet and beautiful campground. The bathrooms were clean, the water was hat and the river was spectacular.
The best part of this campground is the quick walk to the beach. Lots of families and trees to climb for the kids. Going from the campsite to the sand was a very nice experience. I camped on a Saturday night so the campground was full but that was expected as we were so close to L.A. I will return for a quick getaway.
I spent a few nights camping here in January and it was quiet and peaceful. The camp host was extremely nice and hooked me up with a huge bundle of wood. It’s fun to camp on the river in the trees and having access to a shower is always a plus. The only negative is the sites are close together and it is a little pricey. However it is worth it to spend time in beautiful Big Sur.
This was a quiet and peaceful campground with great opportunities for stargazing. No campfires and no water in the campground.
This is a very nice and clean campground. It was nice to fall asleep listening to big pine creek and this campground gives you access to some great hiking trails. The campground was full with lots of families and people fishing in the creek.
