Not a pleasant stay

Campground had some lovely views, some sites with lake access. Water and electrical hookups at most sites. RVs and tents share same area. Bright lights were burned all night, no need in complaining to camp hosts they burned strings of bright LED lights all night too. Large groups allowed, across from our tent there was a party that included 13 children. Generally noisy, lots of traffic moving at all hours. Bathhouses well maintained. Maybe okay for RV but no sleep if using a tent.

Great Location

Small (20 sites) primitive campground located only one mile from Keystone SD. Great for seeing Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Site and Custer State Park. Mostly tents as large RVs and trailers have difficulty with tight curves. Some sites small but we reserved #19, it is very large and offers best privacy. Well maintained vault toilets and potable water available. Quiet at night but some road noise and helicopter traffic during the day. Friendly hosts.

Pleasant stay, quiet campground

Unique mix of RV and tent sites in a variety of sizes. Some close together would be good for groups and some remote. One shower room with flush toilets near entrance but vault toilets and water available throughout park. No other services.
