A great campground in Ohio. So clean and so many things to do. Campsites are close together but they do honor quiet hours. Great trail around the lake and a fun and challenging disc golf course.
This campground is in a great location close to everything. Can access the TART trail at the back of the campground. Easy ride in to town. Close to everything you would ever want to do. We stayed at site 62. Our shower house was newer with more showers and always clean. Close to road, but didn’t bother us. Not a campground if looking for peace and quiet. Sites close together. We will definitely stay here again just because of the location and ability to get everywhere!
We stayed here Mothers Day weekend. Had perfect weather and our tent site was by the creek so we could here running water all night. It was so peaceful! You can stay in the tent site only area which I recommend if you want to be away from the noise and lights of a campground. The campground was not noisy but with the travel trailers and RVs you always get a little more noise. Campground was clean and the shower house was clean but very small for the size of the campground. They did run out of toilet paper in the women’s bathroom but replace it quickly. It was quite a walk to bath house if you stay in the tent only area. We will definitely go back though! The Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge area is beautiful with great hiking!
We will definitely be going back! Campground is on the lake and is beautiful! So many things to do! The camp is clean, has a playground, and movie night. Bath house is a typical campground bath house. We had a tent site and it was huge! Sites come with fire pit and picnic table. Beach is within walking distance of campsite.
Nice campground with many amenities. We stayed in a camper cabin with air conditioning knowing it would be warm when we were there. They serve breakfast and dinner which were both very good! The staff were all awesome!!! The biggest problem is the campground is situated between 2 rivers so the mosquitoes were unbearable. We cut our stay a day short because we couldn’t even sit outside and enjoy a fire after a long day of hiking without being eaten alive. I’m sure this is a much better experience when the mosquitoes aren’t as bad!
This is a great campground to stay at if you are going to both Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. It is also the only one that takes reservations. We had a tent site and had plenty of room for a six person tent and canopy to put over picnic table. Site came with bear box, fire pit and picnic table. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The lodge is across the road with a nice little store to pick up small things your forget or need. The bathrooms are on the smaller side but it worked for the 4 of us. I will definitely stay here again. No frills but we didn’t need or want that.
