This is a simple campground…spaces laid out across the desert, pit toilets and a water spigot. The warm springs are awesome… a large pool with 90 degree water, and a bathhouse with two continuous flow springwater showers. Remember to take your trash with you.
A lovely spread out BALM campground. I've never seenit full. Enjoy the Malheur Wildlife Refuge and Stevens Mt for a few days. Just watch out for mosquitoes in the early summer.
Tucked up against red rock cliffs, a forest with maple trees in the desert. This spot is just off hwy 50 (paved all the way) so it makes a great stop. Small campground (about 25 sites), quiet (but for the crickets and babbling brook). The trail and fishing might make it worthy of a fee nights.
Great lake for swimming, paddling and walking. Ponderosa forest, osprey hunting every evening and resident beavers.
