Easily the closest campground to Bryce. The “Ruby’s Empire” has the market cornered here, and all essential services are readily available.
Despite the nonstop traffic in the campground office, the staff was always pleasant and helpful. Amenities were good, not great. Our site was odd in that it abutted another site on an angle that our RV and our neighbor’s practically touching.
It’s crowded, noisy (quiet hour was respected by all), tight and pricey, but friendly and clean enough - and definitely close to Bryce.
Definitely not “dyrt” - this is top-notch glamping at its best! Stayed here 2 nights. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and service goes above and beyond. There was a mixup upon our check-in (not the fault of the resort), that was a bit sensitive. It was handled professionally, swiftly, and in a manner that left all parties completely satisfied. Staff is on top of every detail. We watched crews clean and prep sites as soon as a camper checked out, and were amazed by the thoroughness and thoughtful touches.
There are events, cookouts and evening ice cream, the store is enjoyable to browse, and the personal touch here exceeds expectations!
Stopped her for the night on our return to SLC. Family staff was pleasant and helpful.
Full hook-up site was surprisingly spacious with green space in-between and trees for shade. Facilities are clean and comfortable and camp store is well stocked. We were able to walk to Utah Lake via the state park and even found an interesting collection of old gas station signs, pumps and other road-memorabilia along the way!
Really enjoyed our brief stay! On line reservation request requires a credit card #, but return call was very quick and helpful and no charge was placed until check-in.
