Campground is okay

The camp host is as sweet as can be. I have nothing but nice things to say about him. The campground however is not as nice. We were at site 33 it was left trashed from I assume previous guests. The bathroom was not clean. People are not respecting this campground. The site was also only shaded during the morning hours. Mid day toward late evening it’s very sunny and no shade.

Beautiful and lots of history

I grew up around here. The locals don’t appreciate its beauty like they should. Lots of natural waterfalls and old buildings.

This place is amazing

Tishomingo State park is one of the beautiful places Mississippi has to offer. So many hiking trails, cliffs and sites to see. Also you can visit Mississippi’s highest point only a few short miles away in the neighboring town of Iuka.

Camp hosts rude

The hosts are extremely rude. The lady host is mean and rude and very unpleasant human. The town nearby is a cute town with some pretty sites nearby. Lots of ok’d homes if you’re into that to look at. The Bath facilities could use some upgrading too. Some of the campground area is prone to flooding as well. Also very cool old military cemetery across town.

Flooding when we went

This is local to us and we’ve been a few times. The last time however a barge flooded the area. Caused some shut downs. Lots to do usually though. Hiking. Boating or kayaking. Playgrounds.

Scouting group enjoyed it

We went in April with our scouting troop. Very busy even then. Lots of small hiking trails. Nothing too fancy. Dollar general 10 minutes down the road if you need anything. Several primitive sites. Our troop made friends with some other kids nearby as well. Great for families or alone.
