Pros: great area on top of a hill that looks down towards the water, nice lake with fishing, easy trails beach area, kids playgrouns Cons: bathroom is way down the hill, not much to do in the area, can’t bring your vehicle in the group camp so have to lug your things from outside of the camp are

Pet Friendly Cabin

Pros: nice cabin, somewhat secluded, hidden hill on the water next to cabins, great for kayaking, bathrooms close with showers, great easy hike from cabins to the end of the peninsula, great views Cons: limited activities in the area

Group Camp

Pros: river runs behind the group Camp - fun to ride rafts (if it’s not too high/fast) all the way to the lake outlet, big group camp site, many good fishing areas around, group camp feels secluded from the rest of the campground, private bathroom, cabins very close that have air conditioners for those who don’t like tent camping, beautiful lightning lights uo the sky when bad weather comes, good easy hIkes Cons: Weather is very unpredictable - in a week, had sand storm, rain storm, and hot muggy heat

Group Camp

Pros: group camp is very close to beach front area, GREAT CLAMMING AND OYSTERING! (makes for great eating), big pavilion, private bathroom, lots of camping spaces that are spread out so still privacy from your group, good sized fire pit with benches around it, lots of picnic tables Cons: on weekends durIng clamming season the beach front area is packed, not a ton of activities close by

Pet Friendly Yurt

Pros: Close to the ocean so you can hear the waves at night while you fall asleep, lots of clean bathrooms with lots of showers, close to downtown Westport where you can fish and crab off the dock Cons: Campsites are very close together, not much privacy (I could hear neighbors having conversations through the yurt walls)

Pet Friendly Cabin

Pros: Good lake to swim in, smaller state park so not too busy, kayaks you can rent, small playground if you have kids, pet frIendly cabIn I stayed In was faIrly secluded Cons: because it’s smaller, kids on bikes were on the road often so you have to be aware, only one shower stall in the restrooms

Group Camp with Electric

Pros: had our own bathroom, electricity in the pavilion at our campsite, close to many activities (kite flying at the beach, arcade with putt putt and bumper boats, casino), deer everywhere! Cons: Group camp layout is long and narrow
