Near beach access, across from Ft. Stevens

Decided to take a chance and not reserve anything. With the Fort Stevens across the street and it being a slower winter weekend, we ended up with plenty to choose from at last minute.

We arrived ready with our tent and heater set up. But there was a cabin available so we jumped at the chance since the cabin was only $47.

We spent most of our time combing the beaches with our dogs and making meals at our campfire. Perfect weekend. Not too cold, no rain. Dogs loved it. Convenient that Fort Stevens was across the street. Used their beach access + *sunset beach access (between Warrenton + Seaside).

*sunset beach access attracts a LOT of vehicles that line up the right and left side of the beach. We parked in the parking lot.

Everyone in the general camping areas kept distance or was masked up. Appreciate that codes are given out to gain access to the bathrooms (very clean).

Ate lunch outside with our dogs at Buoy brewing. Great Covid setup.

Perfect road trip stop.

Worth it. Looks as beautiful or better in person. Plenty of trails for any hiking/walking level.

Great spot for photography, meditation, exploring solo or with company. Make sure to be able to download maps when traveling in this area, as there is cell coverage, but lots of out of pocket spots as you travel to and from this area of Oregon.

Minus the mosquitos in the summer.

(Because mosquitos swarm near big lakes) This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Oregon for families and groups. Location is ideal, near Rim Ridge, and some fantastic trails (all ability levels) and fantastic views.

All sites have fire pits, bear proof storage, and pic nic tables. Each site is in close proximity to restrooms (from what I could tell).

Excellent signage/way finding. Love the fresh spring water taps at the village to refill water jugs. Super cute, friendly storefront. Lots of amenities and lodging if you need to coordinate a more glamping deal for picky family and friends. This campsite meets every type of camper needs. (Almost disney- esque)

Have fun!

Quick Trip. Perfect for our needs.

This was a quick overnight stay. Extra star for the pretty snow.

Literally no issues. Stayed in a cabin with electricity and a working heater. They had a air purifying system installed into each cabin to meet COVID needs.

Cabin clean, two double beds. Bring your own bedding.

Small table and two chairs.

Fantastic wide porch with long bench to sit on watch the stairs.

Site came with pic nic table and firepit.

Dogs romping, walking and hiking around the snow.

Roads were pretty easy to get through, and clear signage.

Clean bathrooms.

No issues with checking in or out.
