Had a wonderful time tent camping here with our 4 month old baby. Great place to cool off on hot summer days. Love the trail that goes around the lake!

This campground is nestled in shrubs next to the ocean. 

Perks: SO close to the ocean you can hear the waves at night, right next to the beautiful Cape Lookout hike, away from any major roads/towns

Cons: windy and cold on breezy coastal nights due to the proximity to the ocean
