Would work in a pinch

Down a dirt road. This used to be a boat ramp, but it doesn't exist anymore. A few fire pits scattered around the hill and by the water. Vault toilet available. Great views of the mountains. No privacy other than some sage brush. No room for big rigs, 4wd not required.

The views are what make the site

Fantastic views of the canyon, both above and from within. Steep dirt road down. Several spots along the dirt path on the way down to the river bed of varying degrees of difficulty. No amenities save for a rock fire pit or two. Had full cell service w At&t. Looks like people have driven right onto the sand by the water. Hundreds of birds flying around the canyon walls and rocks. Could hear the cows at the nearby farm, and occasionally smell them when the wind was right. I visited in April and the water level was low.

Good because of the easy Highway access

Nothing except flat land here. But it's right off the highway and 30 minutes from Moab. Can see the cars on the highway but can't hear them. Rock fire pits are scattered about. Zero privacy. Open range. Full cell service w At&t. Great sunrises. I found a spot near the entrance, but plenty of space to roam around.

Tricky to get to, not a lot around, but worth it for the views

The drive in is bumpy and will take awhile. Higher clearance would help, but isn't necessary. Free range area, beware of cows on the road. Mind the cow patties, there are some on the tent pads. Outstanding views of the canyon and the Colorado River, depending on your site. Good bathroom. Full cell service w At&t. Picnic tables. Actual fire pit. The sites are fairly close together. There are some trees and shrubs, but not much privacy.

Good in a pinch, but shouldn't be your first option

It's not great. Next to a shooting range and orv trails, so you'll hear that. Shrubs and a few small trees dominate the landscape, so there isn't much privacy. Roads were bumpy, but manageable. Access depends on where you go, Several paths to take w other sites. Lots of trash. Rock fire pits. Amazing views of the mountains behind Provo and Utah Lake. Full cell service w At&t. Free!
