We just did a quick over-nighter here on our way back from CA. We set up camp and had our dinner on the beach to watch an incredible sunset!

our drive-up site was great, well maintained with bathrooms nearby.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We’ve been up to Owhi three times now -once in the pouring rain..

we love how peaceful it is up there.

try to get there early in the day as it fills up pretty quickly..parking and bathrooms up top, carry your stuff down to a site.

the sites are right near Cooper lake, so if you have kayaks,paddle boards, etc.. it’s the perfect place (with Mountain View’s!).

Hikes down to the river!!

in May there is still plenty of snow.

Campgrounds were very well maintained. We stayed in a walk-in site that was super close to a trail down to the water. Watched a gorgeous sunset from the rocks.

Bathrooms were close and clean!

Sites we’re close together but we felt like we had some privacy with trees. (Great for hammocking!)

If you’re there for more time, it’s worth it to explore some hiking trails nearby! We LOVE the chuckanuts!
