Warming place to be

Like the location… it is in the middle of all the attractions…. Needle HWY, Hill city, Rushmore/crazy horse, Custer, etc.

Good views

This spot was quite. There no hook ups … while we where there, the area had a lot of rain that kinda cause a bit more wet than the normal. Great MTB and hiking trail. They even offer archery, 3d targets and archery range. This is at the ranger headquarters. The reservoir is massive so boat or your fun floating gadgets-you will have fun.

Nice spot

On our trek heading north, we need to place for overnight. I was quick an easy off the main motorcade. Have a playground, pool and a Jamaican restaurant just off the freeway. Very clean facility.

Spot on

We were only passing through… it was a overnight stop on our trip. Great location very wooded and spacious. Had Wi-Fi in the public parking. For us no signals for cellular. Our site was very level didn’t need the do much leveling the rig. In the short time there, we explore DuPont state park-Trek some short trail to the Falls. Our children love it … one of them is a big (hunger games fan) All in all it is a great place we will have to get back to explore more!

Cool

The camp ground at our location was new. They are expanding. The facilities are Brand new. There are two side to this CG. We were in the newer area of the CG. Our site is located on the side of the hill and very level. The only thing at that one site is the spacing to accommodate having your camp fire. It was a little close to your neighbor. Not enough space to have full camp chairs around. That one site (79) I would say best for just passing through. The other site are pretty good. Other than that, the owners are awesome!!! Easy to talk with and chat. Great people! I will say great place my kids loved it… and I will go back again.

It’s out there nowhere !!!

This is a great place for dispersed camping. The road in is dirt single track with a few wash out and little steep hills. Low profile vehicles, I would not recommend. Check campsite for proper directions for those pulling travel trailers. On site, there is a bathroom and shower…, but need to check with camp host because water is a premium “ it the desert”. We loved it. It is about 30mins out from Study Butte/Terlingua -got to love the name. We highly recommended Big Bend Boating and Hiking Company… Check these guys out.

Great location-peacefull!

The location is great and very spacious. Bike/ walking/ hiking trails are close by. The bathrooms are fantastic(new facilities) For RV campers there are no dump station. I recommend this Park A+

Great view

Well, it's a KOA… The kids love it… Had a pool and a very challenging mini golf pitch. Otherwise very cool spot.

Awesome

Our site was spacious. A lot of wildlife around. The bathrooms were nice.

A great pass through rv park

Not bad, yes a little close to other RVs but, it works. The bathroom were very clean. It a great spot if you are passing through.

Wide open!!! Windy

Great spot to re-group… Since we could not get a spot in YS for our rig, we use BBST as a home base. We were able to leave our rig to tent camp in YS. And yes is very windy at times…. Also watch out for the bugs they can be ferocious went the wind does down.

Ventra

Well, 2021 a little different this year because everyone is camping…. Now reservations are required. The CG is spacious. Now, you make sure you know how to maneuver your rig in small sites. Otherwise this CG is quite nice.

A diamond in the forest

We spent our time at this site in the late Fall. We want to catch the peak autumn colours. The camp site is very wooded and spacious. The camp host are very nice…they even kept the water on that late. Well for being there in the late fall, we were the only ones there. There are very cool hikes nearby: Vermilion falls, Vermilion gorge trail which was our favorite and voyageur NP. I’ll say…very awesome spot up north.

Nice little hole in the wall!

Very friendly spot. A little ways away from the main viewing of the Bad lands NP but great place to get away from the busy park.

Awesome spot! Yes

The CG is nice. I think it has decent space between pull-in spots. The CG owners are fantastic. They are helpful to the best. The CG is in aways from the main road-way, so very very little traffic noise. The pine trees that surrounds the ground makes it very cool.

Backbone

Lots a hiking trails… nice trout fishing. Kids love the river crossing. Be aware of night life, the raccoons like to come and join you at the camp fire.
All been said., nice little gem in Iowa.

Great gem

Well spaced out camp sites ,very primitive. Great spot to view the stars. Awesome for kids.

Nice

Very windy! At times and also a-little road noise from the near motorcade.

Great view of the dunes

Location we had was nice and quiet.

Magnificent

There is a lot to do!!! And also watch the weather!
