Great spot! We got up there around dinner time on a Saturday. The first 22 sites were filled but we kept driving til we got to the valley with the dispersed free sites. So glad we did because it was much more beautiful then the other sites in portal. The road is a bit crazy but my Subaru forester handled it just fine!
