Great Campground

The spots are a bit tight but I live the mature trees and the fire pits. The fire pits are surrounded by rocks with a large rock backing one side. It gives the feel of extra warmth coming from the space.

It was a bit muddy on our arrival and because of the nature trees the sites still haven’t dried out enough to enjoy the grounds but otherwise I am very impressed. The kid’s activities are far from our campsite which is unfortunate.

They have laundry and they are about 30 miles from Boston, which was the reason for our stop. Di Napoli is an Italian restaurant that delighted right to our campsite!

Near but not too near

We really enjoyed our stay at River’s End Campground. Staying in Tybee was pleasant. Being the off-season was helpful. My children and I loved playing and learning outside. We also loved riding our bikes around the island and to the beach.

A staff member tipped us off to the Turtle Pond which was the most memoir experience! We were close to Tybee without feeling like we were in the thick of it.

We would definitely stay there again in the off season like we did this November.

Service on Point

The staff here went above and beyond to provide us with a great stay. The most amazing part was the fault of our RV to secure a safe electrical connection. Our RV is new to us and the handle for the 50 amp was loose which I didn’t realize would be an issue.

Long story short, Jay, an employee took time out of his shift, clocked out, diagnosed and fixed our plug; averting us from catastrophic failure! We are so thankful to Jay and the staff for being kind and cordial throughout our experience.

They also have a great wine bar and excellent pizzas that were made in house. My children also loved the playground and the Alligator walk.

It was a great experience. We would definitely stay there again!

Great feel for an urban campground

My family and I stayed here for a week in November. My wife worked from the road while I taught school. The WiFi was strong and the employees were helpful and informative. The laundry was acceptable but expensive. I liked that we were able to have family dinners and experiences while still staying socially distant. Our site was a pull thru which was great.

We would definitely stay there again if visiting Wilmington.

Great Urban Setting

Sites were open and level. All roads were One Ways which was nice for flow. WiFi was strong and reliable, actually quite surprisingly nice). Firewood was a bit expensive.

Laundry was acceptable but not impressive. Playground was nice with many apparatus but the ground was all sand (not my favorite).

We were close to groceries and many amenities. I only wish were were closer to the beach but that’s not their fault. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Peaceful Place

We really enjoyed our stay at Campshore. We had a 50/30 pull thru site with water, a fire ring, and a brand new picnic table. The owner was efficient and kind and we felt very welcome. Many of the sites were for seasonal guests who were able to enjoy full hook ups.

Even though we were not seasonal guests, many of those that were, were kind, one offered us kindling to get our fire going! Our children were able to do homeschooling while there and then we had ample time to explore the river shore and play on the playgrounds. We would definitely stay here if in the area again.

We stayed at Campshore in order to attend the Creation Museum. It was a great weekend all around and we enjoyed our stay.
