Clean and well kept campground. The Monona County has raised the bar. 5 concrete pads with gravel on the rest. Level and well spaced sites. Located far enough from the interstate to avoid any traffic noise River barges were unloading next to the campground when we were here.
Arrived without reservations and was able to stay in the non hookup overflow parking for $20/night. Excellent so far, close to the lake and showers, level, paved, and quiet.
Just off the interstate, many types of jerky and jams in the campground store. Level pull thru sites, laundry, and clean facilities. Would stay again.
Lucky to fine a site for one night, non electric but still fine. Excellent host and facilities. Sunset and sunrise are spectacular!
No complaints here. The roads and gravel sites were level. Some of the sites were out of commission due to maintenance as was the campground bathhouse. Facilities in the adjoining day use area were up and working. Well spaced sites, would stay here again.
It really is an oasis. First class facilities and roads are good. Would stay longer if we could.
Five spots and four were occupied the day we stopped. Excellent areas to walk, paved sidewalks and a pond. Playground and pool in the summer. Sand burs in the grass.
Nice uncrowded lakeside campground. Sites and roads need attention but it does keep the traffic slower.
Joined a lot of fall campers. Good overall experience, didn’t have time to take in all the trails. No phone or internet, no problem!
Gravel sites, not terribly unlevel, some have concrete pads. Quite getaway in the trees by the lake. Facilities are very clean, would stay here again. My kind of camping!
COE campground on Beaver Lake. Quiet and relaxing for a change. Sites are needing a bit of resurfacing and when they do the repairs I hope they regrade to make them closer to level. Not so bad that a few boards would correct the slope. Showers and bathrooms are fine.
The lots are all privately owned and some owners offer their sites for rent. All streets are paved as are the lots. FHU on all sites, pool, hot tub, boat dock. Gated community with guards.
Paved roads and sites, showers and bathrooms ok. Set in the wooed shoreline on Table Rock Lake. Plan to return and tryout different sites.
Paved and level sites, some shade and grassy areas. Hosts were excellent and very helpful. A few late night noisy vehicles stopped by the restrooms, non campers, wouldn’t hurt to ad signage directing them elsewhere.
Pick a spot and sign in at the hotel registration counter. Code for the bath facilities will be provided at that time. Close to the casino and well landscaped. Video is from Nov. of 2020.
We picked a standard non electric site as it was level and not crowded. $8 for seniors so not bad. Lots of fishing activities here on the lake. Would stay longer if we had the time.
Nice woods setting but they need to level the camp sites. We had our choice of sites and picked the one that looked closest to level but still a long way off. Bathrooms and showers were old but useable.
Fall visitors to this area and found a gem. Price is reasonable, sites are asphalt with rock picnic areas. Only drawback is finding a level site if you are in a motor home. Well worth the effort and highly recommend this area!
Most reviews about this site comment about the train noise. I would guess maybe 15 trains passed by during our stay but the pleasant lakeside park far outweigh the noise of the railroad traffic. Barges making their way up river and numerous birds to watch are just part of the enjoyment offered. We were the only ones camping here, perfect! Electric only, no water or dump area.
I decided to boondock in the general parking lot, couldn’t see paying $40+ for one night of hookups. No showers, bathrooms etc. so not for me. I want the campground fee to be free or really cheap if I come to a casino. We like the casino and have been coming here for years.
