Ok if you have RV

There are not many, if any places in this area to pull in to. We lucked out and found this one after unsuccessfully driving in circles trying to find other parks in the area that apparently don’t exist 🙄. We had a tent, tent sites were not good. I guess if you have a RV, pull in, go inside and shut the door, it’s ok for a night. Friendly owners. Check in was a breeze. $15 for a tent site sounded good to us, we were exhausted 💤. Bathrooms are old and just ok. Seems people don’t know how to flush. There are showers.

No ones home ?

We were exhausted and thought we’d pull in here for the night. No one answered the phone when we called. Took our chances. Wrong choice. Double check before you go, because it looked vacant to us.

Nice location

Nice location for an overnight rest spot. We had a tent site, close to the road, but traffic wasn’t bad after dark. Site was grassy. No fires allowed for obvious reasons. We were the only tent guests. Most people looked like they were long term RV’rs. IMMACULATE bathrooms and showers with hot water and pressure ! There’s a hot springs nearby, a water slide, golf course and resort hotel/casino. Easy access to I-15. Only drawback I could see was that there was dog poop everywhere. Bags were provided, but apparently people don’t use them :(

Perfect park

I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful park. We tent camped 3 nights, had our pick of sites in late September, right on the water. The camp hosts here were so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. Gorgeous view of Wild Horse Island. There are bear lockers, but not at each site. Just kind of scattered here and there. Fire pit, picnic table. We pretty much just hung out at the park, it was so peaceful and relaxing. Crystal clear water. Highly recommended, but I’m guessing it gets pretty crowded in summer.

Beautiful country setting

This is such a pretty little place ! Put our tent right next to the river on grass. Picnic table, fire ring. Horses and sheep in the background. Very picturesque ! 2 bathrooms were available and each had a shower. Not the cleanest, but they were ok. I think they are in the process of building new bathrooms. Only drawback … you are really close to the road, which seemed to be an expressway for semi trucks all night long. There is a train that goes by too, but the train didn’t bother us. Loved this campground for its scenery. Friendly camp host.

Beautiful park

We pulled in on a Saturday night, no reservations, but lucked out and grabbed the last site in the park to pitch our tent. RV spaces are VERY close together, but if you don’t mind not having hook ups, head to the back of the park. Really pretty sites, not on top of each other. Great views. Park has showers. Bathroom was ok. Not too far off I-15 to make it a stop on your way further north.
