Wanted to find a close by place for for a night of Tent camping and stumbled across this winter time ski resort/ spring summer camping and adventure grounds. Rob the manager was so kind and friendly, the bathrooms are all immaculate and a shower is available just reserve your time. Grounds are well kept and rather large open field type camping with trees all around the outside. No electric or water hookups but fresh water is offered if needed. If you choose adventure this is the place for you, ride the ski lifts up to the top of the mountain then you get to bike down it, they have rental bikes available or bring your own. You can also Zip line or swing through the trees if you would rather. If your into Disc golf this place has that too. A great restaurant sits at the top of the mountain….close to the Appalachian Trail if your a hiker. Great place will be going back.
Small sites with porta potty’s, did not stay found another campground
Clean family friendly and walking distance to the overlook of the Grand Canyon. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Sites are large with plenty of room. Park Rangers are kind and available if needed. Kid area playground.
Tent sites, snack bar, warm showers and the ocean….what more could a camper want? Make sure to visit the welcome center before going over the small bridge and watch the video that is played.
Stayed here only 1 night but it was beautiful and comfortable.
Spent a week here and loved it. Very remote wooded area with small stream. Sites are tight but worth it, gorgeous area. Bathrooms are clean and large, staff keeps the grounds immaculate. Lake and beach nearby.
Family cabins available, tent sites are small. Clean parks with a small stream. Next to Dutch Wonderland, showers are nice, laundry facilities available. Enjoyed our time but only because we were going to the park, not a campground to visit if your looking for quiet and isolation.
Small campground with tent sites that are close together. Cleanly run close to Lancaster shopping and Amish country
Campground has so many activities for active families. Pool, swing sets, hosted events and theme nights and weekends. Sites are large enough for 2 tents, many Rv and seasonal rentals one main bath house and very clean potable potties scattered throughout the area. Small creek runs at the end of the grounds.. Very close to so much history, close to downtown Gettysburg with sight seeing tours offered for the battlefields, shopping and dining close by.
Sites are close together small and in wooded areas. Close enough to the lake and beach which is clean but small. Bathrooms are well kept and clean workers keep trash picked up and grounds immaculate. Very close to Cherry Springs International Dark Sky Park with its amazing views of the stars and Milky Way.
