Your Average Suburban Campground
Nice campground, if a bit suburban. Pool, parking lots, nice bathrooms. Tons of spots available even on a weekend in June. Short (5-10 min) drive to the river. If I did it again I'd find a backcountry spot - there are several on the Angel Falls trail that are just a short walk in.

Nice spot by the creek. Beware of bear hunting season - hunters driving by with baying hounds at all hours of the night. Didn't help that we got the spot right by the road. Still a nice spot, definitely were a few permanent residents at the site with tied-out dogs and schoolbuses and such…
