I used to live very close to this area and would hike it almost daily.

It is small but has gorgeous views of the lake and lovely flora abound.

Beautiful views and amazing sunrises but it is quite littered with trash and broken glass. Very busy in the summer and can get wild with people partying.

I think this place attracts a lot of junkies and drunks. 

Can get noisy at night.

Campsites are clean, but was quite a busy spot.

A great getaway from the city.

Not very private and spotty phone reception but the river is lovely and it makes for a great weekend getaway.

TThe campsites are spread out if you drive up so it feels seculuded. 

Careful though bc roads are very bumpy.

Like others have mentioned the road is super bumpy but the views are phenomenal.
