We were just looking for a place to pull in for the night while passing through. This is a nice campground although you will hear the traffic from the road that goes by. It is nicely wooded with clean outhouses. Was perfect for us.
This was very nice when we spent a night in mid September. It is heavily used by campers with atv’s and Utv’s so you may have to deal with them driving by all the time. It was fairly quite when we were there though and it has a nice little lake.
This campground has a upper and lower loop for camping. The lower is on the lake and the upper is more in the trees. The lower has a pretty view and is right on the lake but the sites are pretty close together. There seems to be a little more space in the upper loop but there is no view of the lake and it is quite a hike to get to it. Overall a very nice campground but I can imagine it is very busy in the summer.
We came in after dark but luckily found a spot even though the sign said it was full. Unbelievably busy for a Sunday night in September. Nice facility’s and eight in Teddy Roosevelt National park. Friendly helpful host. Would be helpful if they changed their cancellation policy as the host said seniors reserve camping spots and don’t bother to cancel if they change their minds as it costs more to cancel than to just leave their reservation in place. This makes for unused campsites.
Easy to get to location on the south side of Glacier Park. Wonderful hosts keep everything clean and are available to answer and questions. Stayed two nights and would definitely stay again if we get back that way.
Great place if you want a very secluded campground. They had clean pit toilets, a nice fire ring and picnic table for $10 a night. Nice hiking trails are available that go through the summer pastures for local ranchers. Be aware that this is a long rough gravel road of at least 12 miles to get there. I would not suggest trying to haul a large rig into it.
This is a very basic campground on a reservoir but it was great for what we needed. We were the only ones in the campground so was very quiet. They have very clean pit toilets. Nice place just for a quick night.
This campground is very nice. It is in the woods so plenty of cover. Clean pit toilets and water is available. Just 30 minutes from Devils tower. Would stay again.
Great campground to spend a couple of nights near the grand Tetons. Woke up to a moose right outside our camper. Since it is a little drive from the park it is the last campground to fill up but even with about 400 sites it was still full by late morning. First come but check in was very smooth and sites were plenty big for even the large rv’s. We have a 13’ ft scamp so size isn’t a issue for us but it is nice to have so much room.
