We visited this park after touring Eureka Springs. This park was a welcome rest spot and has a multitude of large shade trees and a wonderful quiet stream. The stream is a perfect place for a relaxing canoe or kayak ride. There were three hiking trails ranging from 3/4 mile to 1 1/4 miles suitable for all ages. If you are in the area, definitely take time to enjoy this park!
Beautiful campground! We rode in to the park on bicycles from Watertown, SD and enjoyed a very relaxing evening at the campground. The hiking trails were very enjoyable and the swimming beach looked very nice. We will return with our kids to this campground!
We had a great time camping with friends at this campground. Even though the sites are a bit small and very basic, there is a wonderful playground and a dock where the kids can fish. Wonderful beach nearby and boat docks available for your stay. We really enjoyed the close proximity to Dairy Queen which allowed us to get a fun treat each evening!
This small campground is perfect if you are tent camping and need a quick place to stop and rest for a day or two. Oologah Lake is beautiful and the hiking trails are beautiful!
Very nice, large campground along the Missouri River. Beautiful location which offers easy access to fishing locations. Our campsite was basic but roomy. We did not have quarters along to operate the shower house, so had to run to town for change.
Basic RV spots with electricity. Access to the Expo rec center is nice and our kids had a lot of fun in the pool. The really enjoyed the climbing wall and diving board!
This is one of the most beautiful areas we have ever camped in! If it wasn't for our jobs, we would happily move to the Lake of the Ozarks! Loved the hiking trails and spending a day on the lake!
What a beautiful place to relax and get away. Beautiful campground with plenty of room between sites, playground equipment for the kids, and nice restrooms/bath house. The Lake offers terrific fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. Awesome hiking path surrounds the lake with benches to take breaks and educational signs to help you learn about the area!
Super cool hiking trail around Scout Island! Great history at Ol Mortimers Cabin and the old military fort. Kayaking, boating, fishing, and swimming are excellent!
This park is great for the boating and fishing enthusiast! Amazing boating for all types of boats and incredible fishing available! Great biking and walking paths for families - beautiful path along the waterfront!
