The staff and people living there was very friendly and kind. Unfortanly that was the only good thing about this place. It was like camping on someones run down back yard. It had a smell of sour urine and you had to watch your step so that you didn’t step in dog poop. The restrooms were run down and were inhabited by earwiggs. The campground is located very close to the train tracks so if you’re a light sleeping bring earplugs since the trains went by through the night. We’ve stayed at campgrounds in national parks less expansive than this. $47/night is about four times too much. It we payed $10 we wouldn’t expect more but the price was ruthless in comparison to what we got.
Very Easy to find off the freeway. We arrived after office hours but had no problem getting a spot since you can do it online and there’s a bulletin board with all the information one would need to be able to do so. The camp hosts came by and were very kind, informative and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful!
The campsite were secluded from each other. It was cosy and surrounded by trees. The staff was friendly and attentive. Since we came in late and left early we unfortanly didn’t get to explore the surroundings.
Right by a lake. The staff is attentive, kind and welcoming. Have not been able to have a greater look of the surroundings because just staying for a night and leaving early morning.
